Color Meditation for Healing and Balancing

Create a special environment for your meditation with candles and flowers. It gives a signal to your body to relax.

"Once I've reached a state of total relaxation during a meditation, I begin visualizing Energy in the form of a glittering purple Light as it goes through every system in my body - cleansing, healing, and empowering my immune system." Jeannie Ross

The human body is not just the blood and bones we perceive on the physical plane. We are made of energy that permeates every layer of our being. What we know as the physical body is energy that is vibrating more slowly than the energy that is beyond our standard perception.

According to W. Brugh Joy, M.D., throughout our body we have centers of energy which are connected to major organs or glands that govern other body parts. When these energy centers are out of balance, the body does not function optimally. Meditation is a good time to go through each of these areas, one by one, and direct thoughts of healing and love into each center.

Sunlight contains the full spectrum of color in the form of energy. Daily exposure to fresh air and  sunlight is an important part of my healing protocol.
Don't worry if it is not "sunny" outside - just get out in the day-light. Take a walk, read a book, or look at nature. Sunlight will stimulate your body to produce far more vitamin D than you can get from a supplement!

The Color Meditation
Once I've reached a state of total relaxation during a meditation session, I begin visualizing Energy in the form of a glittering purple Light as it goes through every system in my body - cleansing, healing, and empowering my immune system. Then I go through the energy centers, one by one, and visualize them bathed in their own energy color, as shown on the chart.  Start by spending 1-2 minutes on each area and work up to 5 minutes per area.

My mother is my meditation partner.

God bless her soul, my precious mother passed away on December 23, 2019. She always encouraged me in my healing journey and was ready to participate in all of the wonderful healing modalities with me. I miss her dearly.

Hi - My husband 42 was diagnosed with lymphoma and leukemia last week. Did you do treatment and the HALL Recovery Diet? Or just the diet? Congrats on your recovery!
thanks

Hi Monica,
I am very sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis! I had surgery to remove any visible evidence of cancer, but I did not have any chemo or radiation. My treatment to keep it from returning and metastasizing is the complete nutritional and mind-body approach I have outlined in my blog. Chemotherapy really only works for four types of cancers: childhood leukemia, Hodgkin's lymphoma, some other lymphomas and testicular cancer. You can check to see if the statistics were from a study with your specific type of cancer and how much it affects the longevity of the individuals. This is important because to be "statistically significant," chemo only needs to increase your longevity by three months.

Hi, Jeannie,
I'm just getting started with recovery. I had surgery a couple of weeks ago, same diagnosis as yours. I sometimes have trouble meditating, especially now with so much on my mind. Either my mind won't settle enough to let me relax or I just fall asleep. Thank you so much for your inspirational blog. May God bless you and yours.

Hi L.C.,
It's wonderful to hear from you. You will be just fine. If you fall asleep while meditating, great! You need lots and lots of sleep because your body does healing work when it is sleeping. Meditation just prior to falling asleep gets rid of tension in the body and produces a much deeper state of rest. I love it! Keep in touch.
